Hello Runners!

We are an all-volunteer training program that is here to help you achieve your running goals.  We offer a wide variety of training programs led by pace leaders, coaches, and training directors in a structured, fun environment.

Our Training Programs:

  • Walking program – for people who enjoy walking and the social environment of walking as a group.
  • 5k program – for people who want to start running but who are not sure where to start.  We help you start and cheer you on as you complete your first 5k race!
  • 10k program – for people who enjoy running between 3 – 6 miles with some possible runs slightly further.
  • Half Marathon program – for people who enjoy running and completing a half-marathon, whether it’s their first half-marathon or multiple half marathons. 
  • Marathon program – for people who enjoy running and completing a marathon, whether it’s their first marathon or multiple marathons. 

We subscribe to pace group led running.  Based on your current fitness and desired distance and time goals, we place you in a pace group.  Within the pace groups, our pace leaders create a welcoming and fun atmosphere, while helping you achieve your running goals.  We believe in running and training together in pace groups because we hold each other accountable while running in a positive environment.  This will be different if you are accustomed to running by yourself, but if you give DRC a chance, we think you will enjoy it and see improved running results while meeting new friends.
